Minnesota Hockey NHL to extend deadline for name submissions until September 29.

[September 22, 1997] --

Minnesota Hockey NHL will hold a press conference on Thursday, September 11, 1997 at 10:00 a.m. to announce a unique effort to develop a name for the new Minnesota NHL team.

Participating in the program will be:

• The Roseville Raiders Girls Hockey Team, Winners of the 1996 Girls State Hockey Tournament;
• Bob Naegele, Jr., lead investor of Minnesota Hockey NHL;
• Roseville Girls hockey Coach Rick Kuehne;
• and Roseville Mayor Dan Wall and Saint Paul Mayor Norm Coleman.

The press conference will be held in the Roseville Area Senior High School located on the corner of Highway 36 and Lexington Avenue in Roseville.

Hockey fans wishing to participate in the extended deadline for name submissions should send their names to Minnesota Hockey NHL at the following locations:
