MINNESOTA WILD CLUB LEVEL SEATS SOLD OUT IN NEW SAINT PAUL ARENALOWER AND UPPER LEVEL SEAT SELECTION PROCESS TO BEGIN THIS MONTH
[January 12, 2000] -- The National Hockey League's (NHL) Minnesota Wild announced today that the team has sold out the Club Level in the new Saint Paul Arena in five weeks. The Wild has established a waiting list for potential Club Level Seat holders, similar to the waiting list created for potential suite holders following the record sellout of the Arena's 64 luxury suites in eight weeks earlier this summer. The team also announced that the seat selection process for general reserve season tickets in the lower and upper levels would begin this month.
"We are thrilled with the overwhelming support hockey fans throughout the upper Midwest continue to show for the NHL's return to Minnesota," said Minnesota Wild President Tod Leiweke. "Club Level Seats in the new Saint Paul Arena will provide the greatest hockey fans in the world with a unique opportunity to enjoy the coolest game on earth."
The Club Level features 2,800 special seats on a private concourse. The entire concourse is a Club that will be furnished and fully carpeted, and include private Club Level restrooms, views to the ice from the open Club concourse, an upscale bistro catered by Morrissey Hospitality and multiple full-service bars with state-of-the-art video walls. Club Level amenities also include the opportunity to purchase tickets to other arena events.
"The very fast sale of both its suites and Club Level Seats for the Minnesota Wild, (probably one of, if not the quickest sell-outs ever) demonstrates the high level of interest the NHL's return to the Twin Cities is generating," said Bill Dorsey, the Executive Director of the Association of Luxury Suite Directors. "Clearly the Minnesota Wild has done an outstanding job marketing its premium seat inventory and is to be congratulated on rolling out such a successful program."
Seat selection for general reserve season tickets in the lower and upper levels will begin in late January. General reserve season tickets in the new Saint Paul Arena range from $10.00 to $64.00. Information packages are currently being sent to season ticket deposit holders in the mail. The process will be conducted sequentially based upon a season ticket deposit holder's Fan Priority Number and seating preference profile, which is included in the information package. Each account will be assigned a Wild Customer Service Representative.
The Minnesota Wild season ticket sales staff began the sale of Club Level Seats in late November and completed the process in early January. Members of the Wild season ticket sales staff include; Jeff Bednar, Matt Cords, Bryan Dan, Dana Dummer, Bill Freeman, Annie Gleason, Connie Hendricks, Jaime Kastner, Mike Kimball, Kelly Novara, Shawn Reid, Mike Snee, Jamie Spencer and John Swing.
